Superb presentation skills are imperative, with an ability to effectively communicate financial results and strategies to board members, financial institutions, and operational teams.

You must have demonstrable ability to create and implement disciplined, effective processes in accounting and billing, and across all levels of the organization and be relentless in your pursuit of revenue and cash growth; laser focused on collections; and proactive in implementing expense control.

Thus, the CFO at WEL will possess a superior capacity to identify needs, spot weaknesses, make connections, anticipate effects, and “see around corners".

Essential responsibilities:

  • As a true business partner to the CEO and the executive leadership, CFO needs to assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and WEL’s long-term strategy.
  • Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
  • Engage the board finance, audit, and investment committees around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model(s) and operational delivery. Assist in establishing yearly objectives and meeting agendas, and selecting and engaging outside consultants (auditors, investment advisors).
  • Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with WEL strategic plan, especially as the organization considers potential acquisitions, and collaborations with external organizations.
